Purpose : Ensure that seafarers are trained and duly qualified to perform their duties on board the vessels. Seafarers will have to perform functions on board in accordance with their certificates of competency and certificates recognized by the Stcw 95 and vessel flag regulations.
An important place is dedicated to the training courses and the development of skills and such training courses are provided in recognized and approved on shore training centers as high maritime institute of Dakar and Casablanca.
Delta Marine is responsible of the training of seafarers and ensure the continuous monitoring of the renewal of certificates and patents that expire. Some training courses are compulsory before proceeding with the renewal of some certificates and patents. While performing debriefing for seafarer signed off, the complete review of his documents leads to the listing of all certificates to be renewed and therefore the trainings to be carried out .
